I had the pleasure and privilege of taking photos of miss Ruby shortly after she was born. Three months have quickly passed each day with them growing as a tight knit family. So again I felt lucky to be able to share time with them as the holiday season in the northwest begins. We enjoyed a cold but dry morning at the Kirkland waterfront and happily ended our time together enjoying a warm cup of coffee. Thanks guys – best wishes this first holiday season with Ruby!
I have known Jeanette and Matt since college and my husband and I consider these two some of the most quality people we know. They are generous, supportive, adventurous, and pretty much cooler than most. As their 5 year anniversary was coming up they asked me to take pictures to commemorate the event. Had the complete joy of photographing my niece. She is pretty much too cute for words. She was also a very good sport while taking photos. She very much wanted to be doing anything but smiling for me. Her energy is completely contagious – my hope is that I was able to capture that! It was a beautiful Seattle day, and Discovery Park was a perfect location. When I first talked with Madi she wanted long crazy grass… we found it! Madi is one of those people who struck me as wise beyond her age – a trait I hope I had when I was in high school. She seems to really have a good feeling on what it means to be uniquely herself.
